Eglė Gudžinskaitė – musicologist, music critic, member of the Lithuanian Composers’ Union and member of the organizational committee of the International Eduardas Balsys young composers’ competition. She has been lecturing in the Lithuanian Music and Theatre Academy since 2003, has been expressing expertly interest in modern music creation, interpretation and contexts. As a certified expert, she is recurrently being invited to be a jury member in the annual Lithuanian Composers’ Union compositions’ selection, Best Musicological Work awards, and in 2022, as a music specialist in the Professional Stage Art judging jury, which decides the Golden Cross winners. She has published over 150 articles and critiques, and has received two notable prizes for music critique in 2005 and 2019. This musicologist is an ISCM World Music Days of Vilnius 2008, various other modern music festivals’ (“Gaida”, “Jauna muzika”, “Muzikos ruduo”) booklet and catalog maker, modern music artists and creators’ CD text author.
